Nick name: flower of the dead, ghost flower, Origins: China and Japan, grows besides of the graveyard, the only flower you can see on the road to reincarnation, after sniffing it, it'll wake up your past life memory, when the flower blooms, you can't see the leaves, when the leaves show up, the flower is withered, the flower and leaves will never meet each other, just like life and death.

1000 years bloom, 1000 years wither, the leaf never meets the flower, love without cause and effect, karma determines life and death.

--------Buddhism scripture

Could someone tell me, why there're so many beautiful stories in buddhism?....

Flower of the dead?
Buddhism is based on scriptures which emphasize personal spiritual growth. This results in much more beautiful stories than judeo-christian-islamic scriptures which are basically about groups of people living in an area which has been a battleground for thousands of years and which focus not on individual enlightenment but on and individual's unquestioning faith in god's ultimate triumph.
Reply:Nature is beautiful, and Buddhism is about nature, about the truth of the universe and the true-self is pure with all the beauty, when one see beauty in nature, one is at peace with oneself.
