Does what you get your valentine show how much you really care ?

e.g. if all i get is a bunch of flowers, does that mean i dont care. does it really make a a difference if you spend £ 1 or £ 1,000,000 around this time of year ?





i know my current girlfriend couldnt care less about what i got as long as it meant somehing, the last girl i went out with would want the world and still wouldnt be impressed,





but what about your partner ?

A bunch of flowers is not very original my friend, it's more of a gift that a boy would give his Mum .. so to some ladies it may seem somewhat "insignificant"?? while to others a simple but sincere "I love You" would mean more than any expensive gift. Love isn't materialistic, nor should it be heralded on just one day of the year.





Whatever token gesture your love for your partner is encapsulated in should be perceived as just that .. an envelope containing love that will last forever.

Reply:I don't have a partner. I suppose if you put some thought into it--what does my girlfriend really like? What interests her? What's her favorite flower?--she'll appreciate it more. The thought into the gift and the reflection of her, or your, personality should matter more than how much the gift costs.
